Welcome to Share My Dine. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our Services.

1. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the Share My Dine website and mobile applications.
• "Host" refers to a home chef or individual who lists dining experiences, cooking classes, or ingredient marketplace items on the Platform.
• "Guest" refers to a user who books dining experiences, orders food, purchases ingredients, or participates in cooking classes through the Platform.
• "Services" includes all features offered through the Platform, including dine-in, takeaway, omni-dining, tiffin service, live cooking streams, virtual cooking classes, recipe library, ingredient marketplace, group ordering, loyalty program, and order tracking.
• "Content" refers to any text, images, videos, recipes, reviews, or other materials posted on the Platform.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of our Services, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Booking and Cancellation

When you book a dining experience, cooking class, or any other service through the Platform, you enter into a direct agreement with the Host. Share My Dine acts as an intermediary and is not a party to that agreement. Cancellation and refund policies may vary by listing and are set by individual Hosts. Please review the cancellation policy displayed on each listing before booking.

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled experience may be eligible for a full refund, subject to the Host's policy.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled experience may be subject to a partial refund or no refund, as determined by the Host.
• Share My Dine reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee for repeated cancellations by the same Guest.
• If a Host cancels a confirmed booking, you will receive a full refund and we will endeavour to offer alternative experiences.

4. Payment and Pricing

All prices displayed on the Platform are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated. Prices include applicable taxes unless indicated. Payment is processed securely through our payment partners at the time of booking or order placement. For group orders, the designated payer or each individual is responsible for their agreed share of payment.

5. Tiffin Service

The tiffin service is provided through third-party delivery partners. Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on demand, traffic, and other factors. Students who are members of the Student Help Squad are eligible for zero booking and delivery fees on tiffin service orders, as per the Student Help Squad terms. Share My Dine is not responsible for delays or issues caused by third-party delivery services.

6. Loyalty Points Program

Guests earn loyalty points on qualifying purchases as specified in the program details. Points are non-transferable and have no cash value unless redeemed through the Platform. Share My Dine reserves the right to modify the points structure, redemption rates, or VIP tier requirements at any time with reasonable notice. Points that remain unused for 12 months from the date of earning may expire.

7. Live Cooking Streams and Virtual Classes

Live cooking streams and virtual cooking classes are provided for educational and entertainment purposes. The recipes, techniques, and information shared during streams and classes are the intellectual property of the respective Hosts. You may not record, reproduce, or redistribute live streams or class content without the express written permission of the Host.

8. Ingredient Marketplace

Hosts list surplus or leftover ingredients from dining events for Guests to purchase through the Ingredient Marketplace. All ingredients are sold on an "as is" basis. Share My Dine does not guarantee the freshness, quality, or suitability of ingredients listed by Hosts. Guests should review ingredient descriptions and expiry dates before purchasing. Any allergies or dietary requirements should be communicated to the Host prior to purchase.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Platform. You must not:

• Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Post or transmit any Content that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform or any systems or networks connected to the Platform.
• Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to access or collect data from the Platform.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Platform.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, software, and their compilation, is the property of Share My Dine or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Recipe content published by Hosts in the Recipe Library remains the intellectual property of the respective Hosts.

11. Limitation of Liability

Share My Dine acts as an intermediary between Hosts and Guests. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the services offered by Hosts, nor the accuracy of listings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Share My Dine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website or by email. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
